That which was a defining moment early in your daily life? Sam Bakhtiar: Probably the most defining moments of my entire life was when my mom and I moved from Iran to the U.S. when I was 11 years old. We arrived with only $500 and one little bit of luggage.

Without family, no friends, no money, no resources, we had to build up a “make it work, regardless of what” attitude. We learned steps to make things happen from nothing.

What’s among your proudest moments? Sam Bakhtiar: The proudest moment of my entire life was when I became a father. Growing up with out a dad, I vowed to myself that I’d continually be there for my children and become the best father on the globe.

What excites you the most about your business at this time? Sam Bakhtiar: I’m in the exercise industry, so for a long time, my greatest excitement and fulfillment has result from seeing my clients achieve results and seeing how exercise and nutrition have changed their lives. I’m so grateful that I reach impact people’s lives and change lives with my gym facilities.

I eat my last meal of your day at 6 p.m. and go to sleep at 9. Before bed, I read at least 25 pages of a book and research something I really like. Learning and researching a topic you’re interested in breaks up the monotony of everyday life and keeps the human brain young.

What exactly are you focusing on at this time? Sam Bakhtiar: I wish to inspire others to be the very best versions of themselves. I am focusing on One Percent Nutrition, a lifestyle and nutrition company for those who demand the very best from themselves and everything and everyone around them.

What’s the most exciting proven fact that you spend time considering? Sam Bakhtiar: Having more children and raising a big, happy family. I wish to have five kids! I’ve two daughters: Bailee, who’s 9 years old, and Hailee, who’s 5 years old. I likewise have another child along the way.
